  • Unplug all appliances from the affected circuit.
  • Reset the breaker and plug in devices one by one to see which one causes the trip.
  • If the breaker trips immediately, there may be a wiring issue—Give us a call
  • Test another working appliance in the outlet.
  • Check if the circuit breaker has tripped.
  • If a switch feels hot to the touch, it may be faulty—turn it off and give us a call electrician.
  • Turn off power at the breaker IMMEDIATELY.
  • Do NOT use the outlet.
  • If you see smoke or sparks, call us ASAP.
  • Locate your earth leakage (RCD) switch on the DB board.
  • Press the “Test” button—the power should trip.
  • If it doesn’t trip, it may be faulty—call an electrician.
